Edge banding was a manual process that required ordinary carpentry tools and materials. Creating durable, visually appealing trim edges is made possible by edge banding machine. Edge banding does more than offer a solid appearance; it also increases durability and protects several surfaces from damage. Molding may be used in place of edge banding. Edge bands are available in different materials, such as PVC, acrylic, wood, veneer, to name a few.  When manufacturing high-volume, repetitive products, edge banding is typically applied using a hot-melt adhesive.
